SCUTI Rewards is the world’s first rewarded marketplace accessible directly from the games you play every day. The platform allows users to play, shop, and earn rewards, which can be used for in-app purchases or to buy additional gear. SCUTI combines eCommerce, media, and distribution to create the first Retail Media Network of its kind, enabling gamers to earn rewards while enjoying their favorite games connected to the SCUTI network.

Client Request

The client needed a complete rebrand to align their visual identity with their core values: gaming, innovation, technology, and fun. They also required the design of a mobile app that was not only UX/UI friendly but also engaging and reflective of their brand’s essence. This included:

Modernizing their logo and brand assets.
Creating visually appealing 3D assets, such as coin and chest renders.
Designing a personalized eCommerce platform with a seamless user experience.
Developing a comprehensive UI kit and prototypes for their dev team.

What We Did in the Project

Our team led a complete overhaul of SCUTI Rewards’ brand, including:

Brand Identity Refresh

We created a more futuristic look for the brand using more vibrant colors and adding new assets to make it recognizable among its consumers.

UX UI Design

After the rebrand was done, we focused on redesigning his UX UI Design Inspire based on what they had built before. We created more than 20 different modules in Development and a design system, style guide, components, and prototype for the app.

Visual Graphics & Marketing Assets

With the straightforward visual process, we focus on designing 3D assets representing the gaming culture, with 3D assets such as characters, coin modeling, and chest rewards. All of this with a sci-fi futuristic style inspired by the brand.

Landing Page Design

With the process complete, we also rebranded the landing page to ensure consistency in style in every single aspect of the brand, improving not just the look but also the interface and navigation.

The Challenge

SCUTI Rewards faced the challenge of revamping an outdated design to create a modern, cohesive identity that resonated with gamers while providing a superior user experience. Additionally, the eCommerce platform had to be user-friendly, intuitive, and capable of driving engagement within the gaming community.

To ensure the rebrand aligned with both SCUTI Rewards’ goals and current industry trends, we conducted in-depth market research:

Proposal and Concepts
After gathering insights from the analysis, we moved on to the concept development stage, creating foundational brand ideas that would elevate SCUTI Rewards.
Concept Presentation

Based on the insights from the analysis phase, we presented several brand concepts, each aimed at positioning SCUTI Rewards as an industry leader. Visual identity frameworks, and initial color schemes.

Visual Style Definition

We explored various styles that balanced gaming with Sci-Fi and futuristic Style. This stage also included proposals for dynamic elements, such as 3D and iconogrpahy assets, to add depth and interactivity to the website.

Feedback Iteration

Working closely with SCUTI Rewards, we refined the chosen concept, making adjustments to color choices, typography, and logo design to ensure every element conveyed the intended impression.

Brand and Marketing Assets
With the visual style and direction established, we focused on creating a suite of brand and marketing assets to bring SCUTI Rewards’ new identity to life.
Logo Redesign

A refreshed logo design that captured the dynamic and fun nature of SCUTI.

3D Modeling and Visual Graphics

Coin and chest renders for use in marketing campaigns and on the platform as well as a Comprehensive brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.

Pitch Deck Design

Marketing materials, including visuals for social media and promotional campaigns.

UI design and Prototype
We mapped out the user journey to optimize navigation and engagement. Wireframes were created to:
User flow and user chart

Visualize the flow from gameplay to shopping and reward redemption with highlight key features and CTAs for maximum usability and addressing pain points identified during the analysis phase.

Design System Creation

To maintain consistency across all brand touchpoints, we developed a comprehensive design system. This system included guidelines for colors, typography, buttons, icons, and interactive elements, providing the App with a toolkit for future scalability.

Prototype

We incorporated a prototype animations showcasing key functionalities and animations on the App, that would later be implemented in development, adding polish to the overall user experience.

User Testing and Feedback Iteration

We conducted user testing to ensure the design met usability standards and resonated with SCUTI Rewards' target audience. Based on feedback, we refined elements to enhance functionality and visual appeal.

Web Design
Once al the brand and App were build we focus on the redesign of his website so this one can be more align with the new style
UI Design for Desktop and Mobile

We crafted a cohesive, visually appealing interface that remained true to the brand identity across desktop and mobile. The design was created to engage users through sleek visuals and strategic use of color and white space, enhancing readability and interaction.

Design System Creation

To maintain consistency across all brand touchpoints, we developed a comprehensive design system. This system included guidelines for colors, typography, buttons, icons, and interactive elements, providing MetricWorks with a toolkit for future scalability.

Prototype Animations

To give MetricWorks a glimpse of the final experience, we incorporated prototype animations to simulate interactions and transitions on the website. These animations provided a smooth, dynamic feel that would later be implemented in development, adding polish to the overall user experience.

User Testing and Feedback Iteration

We conducted user testing to ensure the design met usability standards and resonated with MetricWorks' target audience. Based on feedback, we refined elements to enhance functionality and visual appeal.

Video editing and Animation
In the final phase, we brought all elements together, transforming the design into a fully functional website on Webflow.
Feature Highlighting

Demonstrated SCUTI’s key features, such as the reward-earning process and the ease of shopping within games. Animations were created to simplify complex ideas, making them easily digestible for users.

Gamified Experience Showcases

Displayed how the platform integrates into games, showing players earning rewards and redeeming them in a seamless, engaging way.

Dynamic 3D Visuals

Used animated versions of the coin and chest renders to add a dynamic, polished touch to marketing campaigns and in-app tutorials.

Brand Storytelling

Developed videos that narrated SCUTI’s vision, mission, and user benefits, ensuring a strong emotional connection with the audience.

Results
The rebrand and platform redesign delivered transformative results for SCUTI Rewards. The new cohesive and modern brand identity significantly resonated with the gaming community, elevating SCUTI’s positioning in the market. The intuitive eCommerce platform not only enhanced user experience but also drove increased engagement and satisfaction among users. The analytics demonstrated a substantial boost in user retention, while positive feedback from gamers highlighted the platform’s seamless integration with their favorite games.
